How would I spend a 3k wedding flower budget
So you may have read our blog post was all about demystifying wedding floristry pricing or how we’d spend a 2k wedding flower budget, but what if your budget stretches a little further to 3k and you want to work out what this could get you?
So First things first, To help maximise the budget just like with the 2k budget, we’re going with lush seasonal blooms complimented by wispy, textural foliage across all the arrangements. We’ve also chosen arrangements for the ceremony that we can repurpose for the reception so keep reading for more details on those.
Bridal party flowers:
In this scenario we’ve accounted for 6 bridesmaids bouquets and 10 buttonholes. That’s plenty of items for a large bridal party and family members that you want to feel included and the 6 bouquets that can also be repurposed by being displayed around the venue after the ceremony. We also can’t forget a showstopping bridal bouquet, bursting with the best of the flowers and acting as the ultimate bridal accessory for the day.
Ceremony and reception arrangements:
There’s nothing more impactful than a floral install at the top of your ceremony aisle to frame your ‘I do’s’. The right open for you also depends on your venue and what works best with your space. For example you might have a beautiful fireplace for us to adorn, or we could create a freestanding broken archway for a bespoke backdrop to your ceremony. In this quote I’d include a large install like the ones I’ve mentioned here, we’re talking floor to roughy human height arrangements.
The other thing we’re including here is aisle meadows, floor level arrangements that line your aisle then later can be moved for either impactful flowers in front of a top table, dancefloor, or broken down across different locations.
When it comes to where arrangements should be repurposed and reused, we’re more than happy to advise based on your specific venue and priorities for the day.
Wedding breakfast tables:
We’ve kept the table arrangements exactly the same as the 2k budget; a combination of bud vases, as well as larger bowl arrangements, which work for both circular or banquet tables. For banquet tables we’d space the bowls along the tables with bud vases in between, or for circular tables we’d alternate tables with a cluster of bud vases then a table with a bowl.
Extras:
The 3k budget allows us to add some further floral decor to your venue in the form of 2 milk churn arrangements (either side of a doorway to welcome your guests) and our flower box welcome sign, complete with custom welcome signage, whatever you want it to say.
This price would also include delivery and install to 1 venue, takedown and pick up from the venue the next morning (with an extra charge if the venue isn’t local to me) and the hire of any vases or vessels required for the arrangements.
Ultimately there’s a lot of flexibility with this budget, and depending on your venue and priorities for your day we could easily tailor bespoke plans to suit your specific needs. The moral of the story is: trust your florist to help you work out how to get the most out of your flower budget.
